About the Author

Barbara Stanzeleit is the author of the violin method Der kleine Geiger (“The Little Violinist”) and several other educational works. For four decades she ran her own music school for string instruments, where she combined solid instrumental training with a love of making music together—an idea that shaped the school from the very beginning. Alongside her teaching, she has always remained active as a violinist, performing both as a soloist and with ensembles in concerts, as well as in CD and radio productions.
